Piano Bar “8mm” is one of my favorite places in my neighborhood of Florentin. During the day it is a lovely relaxed and peaceful cafe where I do a lot of my writing, sketching and man watching. but at night this place transforms into a magical performance and jamming dungeon of the best kind with live music ranging from rock, folk, jazz, funk and all kinds of mixes, improvisations and collaborations between musicians, many of whom are famous and leading figures in the local musical and performance scene. Last Wednesday, was one of such magical nights with spontaneous colloboration between the “Swing the Gitanes” and David Broza, great masters of guitar with their bands.Since it is really impossible to capture in words the magic of the event, all I have left is some nice memories in sketches, done in the passion of the moment.
