I truly believe that it is very important for a developing artist, to free his hand and mind by exercising the gentle motor functions of fingers and hand helping thus to release visual preconceptions and allow intuitive understanding of the Form.

Spring is in the air

Today was one of those glorious spring days ideal for a walk in nature or even sun bathing on the beach. I have chosen to sketch in one of my favorite cafes, here in my neighborhood. With time, sketching is becoming more and more like an open eyed meditation, sort of visual free association.
